Founder and owner John Villanueva was raised building homes. His father was a master carpenter and his eight brothers followed the family craft. Co-founder and daughter Angie Pereira, also grew up helping her father on the job sights, earning extra cash for school clothes while also learning the trade. Angie Walker has spend most of her life in clothing design and founded TAH Bags of Portland, Oregon. Her ability to design spaces that are modern, functional yet timeless inspired her father, John to create “Small Home Design and Build” and to bring his daughter on as co-founder. John is a genus when it comes to configuration and attention to details. With over 30 years of experience in home building, his ability to build in an efficient way and to continue to be curious about smart tool and proven techniques. If you’ve ever worked with John, you will know he does not cut corner nor would he be interested in anything short of quality work.
